Sedro Woolley Real Estate
The town of Sedro Woolley, the "Gateway to the Cascades" got its nickname from its location on the western edge of the Cascade Mountain Range. By driving East on Highway 20 from Sedro Woolley, along the Cascade Loop and in about 4 hours, you'll be in the historic "old west" town of Winthrop. On the drive, you'll see beautiful forests, steep canyons, waterfalls, dams & reservoirs on one of Washington's most beautiful and scenic highways. Don't count on getting to Winthrop in just 4 hours though. There are way too many beautiful things to see on the way!
Sedro Woolley is probably best known for the Loggerodeo, which is the oldest 4th of July celebration in Washington State. The Loggerodeo features chain saw log carving, rodeo events, and more! A walk through downtown Sedro Woolley will show you comfortable wood benches under historic street lights and some fantastic wood-carvings and murals depicting Sedro Woolley's colorful past.
